1When is Tamworth Pride 2024?
📢 Tamworth Pride 2024 is Saturday 13th July & Sunday 14th July.
2Where is it taking place?
📢 Day 1 (13th) is at Tamworth Castle Grounds, the Pride Arena can be found within the Castle Grounds Adjacent to the SkatePark, Tennis Courts & Play area. A site map will be available closer to the date. 📢 Day 2 (16th) will be confirmed within due course.
3Can I bring my dog?
Woof! 🐶 Good Afternoon all hoomans, I’ve got my own way with the Pride Committee. All of my four legged doggy friends are now welcome at Tamworth Pride (so long as you bring me a treat!) Cilla’s Doggy Rules! I’m Chief Security Dog, so please ensure you do follow my rules else I will have to get one of my stewards to evict you from the arena. 1. Please keep all of my friends on NON-RETRACTABLE leads at all times. 2. Ensure all toilet matter is cleaned up and disposed off in the bins around the site. 3. We are NOT able to provide drinking water around the site, so please ensure you bring water with you for my friends to drink. 4What can I bring into the event?
Only sealed soft drinks are permitted within the arena. Picnic Blankets and Camping Chairs are welcome. Only food and alcoholic beverages purchased within the arena may be consumed at any time. Please be prepared for your bags to be searched upon entry to the arena with searches in progress by security teams. Alcohol and food purchased from outside of the arena will be confiscated and disposed of, due to licensing conditions.
5Will alcohol be served?
Yes! The White Lion Tamworth will be Tamworth Pride’s exclusive bar for this years event. Challenge 25 in operation, ID may be required to purchase alcohol if you look under 25.
6Will food be available?
Yes! We have a wide range of fantastic food vendors both sweet and savoury to keep you fed throughout the day including Pizza, Ice Cream, Donuts, Burgers, Noodles & More!
7Where can I park?
We encourage attendees to walk or use public transportation to the event. Please see the bottom of our ‘Plan Your Visit’ page for car parking details.
8How can I get involved?
We are always keen for volunteers to assist with our event and if you would like to get involved, please get in touch here!
9Will there be security and medical staff present?
SIA trained security professionals and medical trained staff will be present all day to ensure the safety of all attendees. Should you need to speak with somebody, you can speak to a steward in hi-vis who will be connected to all staff via radio or at the security and medical point.
